Baby j
So it goes we found out 2 weeks ago the sex of our baby. So far we have found that it's a baby boy!!!! No need to invest in a gun yet. I'm the happiest man in the world when I think about my boy. It's scary and fun and crazy all at once. Here we go!!!

The Shins
God, I must be really behind or uncool.
I found a link to The Shins record "Oh, Inverted World" and simply love it. I'm either stupid or just don't care. It's awesome. Slow, and just kinda jangly and good!! I don't know.
It seems like something to listen to while driving, throw on the iPod and listen to this record and enjoy the road!! Freakin stupid.
Whatev.
Quick update for the negative 3 people that don't read my blog: We are currently set to close escrow on December 15th, 2008. We are in such an emotional predicament with the owners. Personally I don't feel that it's any of our business as to WHY they are selling their home, but apparently they invested in their home unwisely with a horrible loan that they received in 2005. Again, I feel this is not our business but apparently people that it should be. The gentleman and lady that live in the house are older and retired. With this horrible loan they were planning to escape into retirement and hopefully live comfortably for the rest of their lives. Unfortunately our government loosened up the buttons and allowed these shitty loans for people. Unfortunately people took the loans. So the gentleman let his retirement and savings drain into this loan to basically keep them out of the poor house. And still they were not able to stay afloat. They can't afford their mortgage and had to put their house on the market for a loss.
AGAIN I feel this is NOT our business, but now i'm involved. We are now the immoral young kids capatilizing on the Sr. citizens that have been beaten by this shitty economy. It is personally not our responsibility to allow these people to continue to live in this house!! We unknowingly bid on a house and won the bid and have advanced to the final stages of purchasing this house. Again, these peoples situation are not our business. My wife and myself want to make a family, a home, and a life that we can enjoy. We are able to purchase a home for a reasonable amount and can start our baby makin journey. But why do we have to be punished for somebody else's unfortunate situation? I understand that if it were my grandparents or parents I would certainly hope the people buying the home would be courteous and kind. But the people selling the home should also be courteous and leave the premise at close of escrow. It is not our responsibility to help these people and allow them to continue to live in our home. We did not buy a home to be landlords!! MOVE!!!
